Tara Devi

Tara Devi born on 15th January 1945 was one of the female Nepalese singer. Tara Devi in Nepali: तारा देवी . Tara Devi died on  23 January 2006. Until Tara Devi death she had released more than 4000 songs and Tara Devi was also known as the nightingale of Nepalese music industry.
 Mostly Tara Devi dedicate her songs in terms of patriotism  and love.
Tara devi became well known due to such song and the themes of such songs  Tara Devi made different revolutionary songs and she became famous for such songs in her entire life time.


Tara Devi was born at Indrachwok Kathmandu. Tara Devi father Krishna Bahadur and her mother  Radha Devi. She started her
singing carreer at the age of seven and became famous.She begun her life in radio Nepa at the age of 5 year and when she was heard by local they were impressed and praised her so Tara Devi was offered to sing different song that were regularly broad casted on Radio Nepal . And worked there for more than 40 years with her singning carrer hand in hand.

After SLC Tara Devi did bachlore in music.Tara Devi use to earn Rs5.per song she sang on Radio Nepal and after a while Tara Devi was paid Rs 100 per song she sang.By this she became more happy then ever. Tara Devi was appointed as Khardar at Radio Nepal and Tara Devi also worked as  Nayab Subba and Upasachib and spent 30 years
